Hi all,
I was reading a blog about a month ago and came across the site mentioned in the title of this post. You basically sign up, list your music preferences, and then you can listen to a song and write reviews of it. You get paid a few cents per song, which goes directly into your Paypal account once you've made $10 or more. So, obviously, it's nothing major, and because it didn't look like a scam, I was reasonably sure it was legit.
The problem is that it appears not to be accessible with Jaws. I signed up for the website with no problems. In fact, I don't even think there was a captcha. however, I've tried, unsuccessfully, to send in reviews. I listen to the song, write my little blurb, and try to post the review. There's no button or anything like you might expect. There is, however, an unlabeled image link below the edit field, which I assumed is their equivalent of a submit button. But I've tried hitting enter, space, and even routing my Jaws to PC cursor and hitting the left mouse button. In all cases, no go.
I was wondering if anyone had heard of this site and knows of a workaround, or maybe whether it's accessible with NVDA. I don't particularly care for that screen reader, it tends to do weird stuff in its version of forms mode, but I'll use it if I have to. I've always wanted to be a music critic. I always thought it would be a cool thing to do. I should also mention that I've tried this with both IE 9 and the latest version of Firefox. Any help would be appreciated.
